Sunapee Region Board of REALTORS® donates $1,400 to local food pantries.
As a result of a Glow Ball golf fundraiser at Eastman Golf Links in late Fall, the Sunapee Region Board of REALTORS® raised $1,400 from Affiliate and REALTOR® members to be donated through its Neighbors Helping Neighbors program to local food pantries.
Founder and real estate Broker Sherry Noyes started the program three years ago with the support of fellow REALTORS®, Affiliate members and the Board of Directors and since then thousands of boxes of food, personal hygiene items as well as monetary donations have been provided on a rotating basis to area food pantries.  Collection boxes can be found at most real estate offices in the area and sellers, too, are encouraged to clean out their pantry when they get ready to close on their house.

With the most recent donation, $140.00 was delivered to each of the following organizations: Bradford Baptist Church, Warner CAP, Town of Sunapee, South Newbury Church, KLS Community Food Pantry, Trinity Bible Church, Wilmot Food Pantry, Andover Lions Club, Grantham Food Pantry and the Newport Food Pantry.

“These organizations give so much to our communities and we wanted to help them in this time of need and show that REALTORS® do care and are very much a part of the communities in which we serve” Noyes stated.
